- Family-Centered Children’s Dental Care: Dr. Ruby, Dr. Leah, and our team are extremely down-to-earth, communicative, and relatable practitioners. Understanding that every family has their owns concerns and expectations, and believing that each child deserves treatment that recognizes their unique needs, we make time to listen and learn. We make ourselves available to families for questions and concerns and are extremely responsive to parents in urgent or emergency situations. Before any treatment, we walk the child and parent through the process, explaining what we will do and why it is being done. Demystifying the care, and making the unfamiliar understandable, goes a long way to easing anxiety – for the kids and their parents!
- Kid-Friendly Dentistry: As a pediatric dental office, we welcome infants through teens and youth with special needs. We have designed our space to appeal to children, from iPads and other interactive amenities in our reception area to ceiling-mounted TVs over treatment chairs, and our staff excels at connecting with kids. It’s not unusual to find Dr. Ruby, Dr. Leah, or a member (or two!) of the team crouched next to a little one, chatting about superheroes, princesses, or their favorite toy. We all want children to feel secure, loved, and respected, and work hard to earn – and keep – their trust!
- Fostering a Lifetime of Healthy Smiles: With fun and painless visits, plenty of patient and parent education, and constant praise and encouragement, we help each child learn to care for and about their oral health. In addition to teaching how to properly brush and floss, we talk about nutrition and the importance of developing good habits. We want our patients to “graduate” to a general dentist with their best smile, and fully empowered to maintain their dental health, for life!
